Each Sunday you’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. A printed bulletin is provided to help you know what is happening in our church, and a large-screen multi-media presentation help you make the most of the practical and relevant message. Worship service begins at 11:00am in the sanctuary in song.
We highly encourage all children 3 years through 6th grade to take advantage of this time of age appropriate worship and Bible teaching, but understand if it takes a few weeks for them to warm up to the idea of leaving their parents for a few minutes. Sunday morning worship services typically last an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes.
If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. Come in, enjoy the time of worship, and see if this is the church for you. We will do our best to give you a welcome package. In it, you will find information about our church and a visitors card. The only thing we ask is that you to fill out the visitor's card and return it to the person that gave you the welcome package or by simply dropping it into the offering plate. The rest is yours to keep, no strings attached!
You’ll find everything from casual clothes to business suits at our Sunday service. Come in what is comfortable for you, because you won't be judged by what you look like or wear. Jesus was not concerned with what people wore and neither are we!
We have a dynamic Wednesday evening meeting which focuses on Bible study. These intimate sessions include interactive solid Biblical teaching and prayer time. Check our service times & directions to find out the time and location.
Great question! Answer is, anywhere you like! Nobody owns any seat. Do not feel like you are taking anyone’s seat. Our audio visual system ensures you can hear and see from any seat.
At First Church children are a top priority. Our nursery is clean, safe, and staffed with loving workers. We offer a dynamic childrens ministry as well as life-changing ministry to impact student from junior high and high school.
As Free Will Baptists, we believe in "open" Communion. This means you do not have to be a member of our church to participate. All believing Christians are invited to receive Communion on various Sundays throughout the year. This is the Lord’s Communion. The Deacons will pass around bread and grape juice if you wish to participate. If you choose not to partake, that's okay. Just tell the Deacon offering the bread and cup "No thank you" as they approach. The Pastor will give instructions as to when to eat and drink.
There are many ways to get involved. Ministries such as Reformers and Women Active for Christ are another great way to connect. In each of these, you can build friendships, learn more about life in Christ and our church, and have the opportunity to grow in your faith and connect with others in our church. Check out Connect for opportunities to get involved.
